There are emerging formats for recording HD video, and they are not all equal.

Most wedding videographers record in a format known as HDV, which compresses the HD signal to the same data size as standard digital video footage.  Colors and the overall image are compressed significantly.

Visa Versa uses sophisticated cameras that record in DVCPro-HD. It offers four times the data rate as HDV, with much less color or image compression.  The result is a more film like image.

We also record at 24 frames per second.  This is the same frame rate that all feature films are recorded at, and it gives your HD wedding movie the same look and feel.
